What is the ROI for Steem?

Let's say you invested $100 worth of Steem today and you want to know how long does it take to recoup it back.

I just checked on Tipu's service and this is what I got:

Not so long ago, the APR was about 33% but it seems that it went down by 10% now. For the sake of this discussion, let's use the current APR of 19.15%. It shows that Tipu's daily payout is about 0.05 USD worth of liquid tokens. Provided that the price of Steem will maintain the current value:

100 USD / 0.05 USD = 2000 Days or 5.47 Years

Does that sound pleasing to you? Definitely!

I believe it offers the best value for your money passively with the least risk possible.

Although, Steem is just a 3-year-old token I feel that it's bound to something great and the value appreciate. That sounds like a bold claim but that's just my personal take about it and not really an financial advice.
