Interesting article. Thanks. I was surprised to see Sabine Hossenfelder quoted in the article. I've had her blog in my RSS feed for years, and I've even shared some of her videos here.

I was already aware of Loop Quantum Gravity, but Modular Space-Time is new to me. Reminds me a little of the ideas of The Pattern and shadows in Roger Zelazny's Amber Chronicles.

What was surprising about seeing a quote from Hossenfelder?

Outside of her blog, she's just not usually one of the physicists that I think of when it comes to media attention. This topic is definitely right up her alley, though.
