Dear free writer,

We present you Lesson 2 of our writing course.

In Lesson 1 we practised how to describe in detail what we see in a picture (for example I see: a sun, clouds, orange sky, 13 birds flying, water, land), and we described the feelings a picture evokes if we study it (a list of feeling you find in Lesson 1). Next, we focussed on writing a story or poem with 100 words as pic1000 and the Art & Writing contest hosted by @ solperez.

This week we will focus on commenting which is an important part of social media.

Start with Task 1!

Task 1

Your comment should contain the following aspects:

  1. What is it you see (the entire post and pictures)
  2. What is it you feel
  3. What is it you like and what can be improved
  4. Show interest (add a personal note, leave a picture, video, link or..)
  5. Ask a question
  6. leave the hashtag #wewrite in your comment
  • Wordcount of each comment: 50-100
  • You are free to comment on every post, those older than 7 days included, except the ones being pinned!
    *Deadline: Wednesday, September 18, 2024

You can not do Task 2 if you did not do Task 1!

Task 2

Write a post about commenting. Share your experiences. Was it hard, what went well, did you receive an answer?

You can not do Task 3 if you did not do Task 1 + 2!

Task 3

Did you develop an eye for what is real or generated by AI?
We go back to Italy.

Hola @wakeupkitty e @inspiracion

Hi @joslud

If you would check every comment left behind concerning the tasks of Lesson 1 you will see that entries of Task 1 were posted long after the deadline and these posts did receive a report and I did tell these participants to post Task 2 + Task 3 as well.

Like you said Venezuela is not the only country dealing with wifi issues so do I and others, moderators and curators included and we all should stick to deadlines if it comes to the reports.

Of course we can work with a team of 20 reading all entries but you know just like me that this will affect the way the content is measured. If in 2 years someone likes to join these lessons and I am still alive I will gladly give them a reply on the tasks they fulfilled.

For your information: I posted Lesson 2 early on my Sunday morning! At that time it was still Saturday with you. This means there are 4 days to visit 3 communities to leave 4 comments. If this is not possible because of a blackout of 1 week or longer my hands are tight.

I like to add that we all know that if we learn consistency is important and not doing all tasks within 2 hours on Saturday night.

I understand your concern and if this means fewer people join, there is not much I can do to change about it.

By the way I noticed many join more than one Teaching Team. It should be considered that taking part at #wewrite is not the same as writing one entry for a Sec contest with a template.

To my opinion there is room enough to join and no one will say an entry is not valid unkess it is plagiarism or AI-generated text.

Thank you for sharing your concerns.

♥️🍀

Ciertamente "LEER TE HACE BIEN"

Jejejeje

Entiendo. Pues, a aplicar lo que comenta usted.

Steemit is a worldwide platform and it is good to visit different communities to broaden the personal horizon. There are many communities with a topic and just like hashtags this is a huge benefit.

Os deseo a ti y a @yancar mucha diversión.

Are you keen to change it for your course?

We discussed it. By now we have 139 entries registered and there are more. We can change the deadline to Saturday or we can not be in time with the report on Monday.
By now the team is expanded with 5 more people and they all get paid except me.

Although a sheet is used to find the best participants all the entries they wrote should be read by one single person (in this case two will ) to compare them against another.

For now I will set the deadline of Task 3 on Saturday till I received your deciscion.

I think the problem is that they are generating 3 tasks in different publications, that is, they are tripling the normal participation.

Sorry for the intrusion, but it seems better to me that the 3 tasks are developed in a single publication, this way they can be covered by 2 or 3 people.

One task is not enough to try out something new. If there would have been only the first the results would have been terrible and many wouldn't have learned anything.
After the second task, the results changed and a great improvement was shown and with task 3 a contest not many join it increased again.
Would one task have made it easier for us? I doubt it since Saturday people still joined in and started with task 1.

Why different communities?
Because there are plenty and discovering some other communities than we are used to write, to discover something new seeing what is posted there) will broaden the horizon of a writer, and willhopefully also improve engagement.

we-write it's not about dropping a post 2 minutes before the deadline but about achieving something together and the chance to improve, ask, try and edit.

Ps. @inspiracion and I did all entries together but the fact remains that every 150+ entry deserves to be read, qyestions should be answered, a task might need more explanation and this takes time too. It's about we not I and knowing that for a change you will be read.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts it's highly appreciated.

.

You can share the reward with me (25% and 25%) or whatever... But as I told you before, it seems that the distribution is unequal😕.

I think we have a lot to go over at least in this week 1 to designate the winners...

It would be nice if we had time to do this activity, I agree that it is until Saturday, week 2.

Thank you dear for sharing. You worked very hard and offered a lot. Your offer is appreciated.🤗♥️🍀

That will be fine if you want to go for the earlier closing date.

See also the comment / suggestion from @adeljose.

Thank you, with lesson 3 I will sew if there is another solution.

Give me a little more information, do 4x comments in the community have to be on different posts?

Yes. You pick 4 posts and leave a comment. You comment in 3 different communities. Do not forget to mention the right moderators!

A beautiful mission, I love writing...

I think this is are great tasks to achieve, commenting can be an art and we appreciate receiving genuine comments, so we all should try making them. And since this is social media, it's at least opportune to do this practice, not to mention the benefits on the blockchain.

Blessings

I agree with you commenting is part of social media and we all can do it. Imagine if we all would write 3 comments oer day...

It's still very few, but absolutely achievable, and good for all of us, motivate the one who receives it and we let ourserlves be known

 yesterday

Grateful to be a student in this course. Learning so very very much...

 yesterday

That somehow sounds strange because you have talent. Can it be you are not aware of it? I love the way you write and hope you have a great time and find more people to connect with. Afterall this is a hobby and it's good to share it with like-minded.
A big hug for you.

 yesterday

It is becoming more clear to me that I can make up for what I lack in social skills, which are 0, by writing and interacting with other writers.
