RE: Do you remember...

in CCC2 days ago

Unfortunately, it's the nature of some people to strive to gain maximum profit as quickly as possible and by any means necessary. In doing so, they often forget about those who helped them. It's impossible to fully thank everyone. Furthermore, it's difficult to earn enough here for your vote to have a tangible impact on those with high STEEM POWER.

It's a different story when someone comes to the platform, secures support from major accounts for their content, withdraws funds to the exchange, and then disappears. Such a user isn't seeking to develop their account to further help others. Their only goal is to earn money and withdraw everything.

This behavior is unpleasant. It's as if one person invested in another person to develop their business, and the other person spent the money on their own needs. And then never mentioned the investor again, as if they had no obligations to them.

I'm new here and I've seen this and I've been shouting about it for days but nobody cares. Everyone just votes for those with high SP (Seniority) ratings. That's why most new people leave after a while.

You'll get votes if your posts are longer. No one will support posts that are just one or two lines.

I tell you why they vote for those high ranks because by voting they generate an income. There are only voting and earning 60 dollars or more per week. I on the other hand vote since years mainly newcomers and those with low SP (not necessary new, but they take their Steem and use it). I can tell next to all the contests I host there's not much grow during all those years. I invested in Steem last year and do not use it for my expenses, but it is and remains hard to give a good upvote.
I saw people grow within one year more than I did since I joined.
That makes one think.

So, those who are in the minority should also come together and support each other. I think you can take the lead; after all, you have influence here.

It is hard to grow and give good upvoted. If everyone would vote others there would be an overall growth butost don't care and never vote. They only take.
The same counts for always the same people taking all positions. They earn a great income and can grow very fast.
There was and still is a lot of corruption which is also a reason why many left.
After all those years trying users are still joining for the wrong reason and refuse to join the PoB and why should they if they paid anyway?
