Hi friends
Greetings!

I hope you are all having a great weekend with your loved ones.

Thank you for visiting this post; in this article, you will learn the essential facts regarding copyright that you require in order to avoid plagiarism claims and demotivating downvotes.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the practice of presenting another person's thoughts or work as your own, with or without that person's consent, by incorporating it into your own work without giving it proper credit. All works, both published and unpublished, whether they are in manuscript, print, or electronic form, are covered by this definition. Plagiarism can be deliberate, negligent, or unintentional. Exam regulations forbid intentional or negligent plagiarism, which is grounds for disciplinary action.

You might have seen and understood that you need to learn a little bit about copyright if you have been a member of Steemit. Anything you see online may be protected by copyright. Generally speaking, you can't utilize it on Steemit, it would be considered plagrism.

Many writers, creators, and artists have put a lot of effort into making their work available online. These works are simple to copy and paste so that you can use them whatever you choose. Similar to finding a wallet with money inside, we may feel fortunate to have located the wallet and may be tempted to keep the money.

Copyright

The term "copyright" refers to the legal authority that authors and other artists have over their literary and artistic creations. Most content creators are aware that copyright is a grey area for many individuals. Although it can get boring telling the same narrative again and over, you might be the spark that sets us off because our patience is limited. The only thing you can do to avoid copyright claims is to educate yourself.

Everything you see on the internet is probably protected by copyright. You do not have permission to copy, reproduce, change, or publish the work you have found if you do not hold the copyrights. Every time someone develops something, such as music, text, films, or images, copyright is immediately and legally assigned to that person. Only that person is the exclusive owner of their work and has the authority to decide what to do with it.

How to avoid plagiarism

  • If you want to use a quote, please be sure to credit the author and use it precisely as it was written by the original author.

  • Use this symbol before the phrase of the quote > and it would look like this

An ounce of patience is worth more than a tonne of preaching. -Mahatma Gandhi

  • You can freely use your own images that are clicked or created by yourself. If wanted to use any image from the internet, you can use copyrighted free images from various websites such as Pixabay Pexels Unplash Kaboom Canvaetc., however, you should write the source from where you got the image and it should be written inside or just below the image.

  • The likelihood of copyright being incorporated in the image you want to utilize for your blog post is very high. In most circumstances, you would need to buy a license and provide credit to the photographer. It's up to you to decide based on your convenience because you can make this decision if your income is more than the cost of the photo you're going to buy on the blog you're making.

  • Referencing the right source is the most important way to avoid plagiarism allegations when you have any other written content please don't give Google as a reference, you should find the real author to give a reference.

  • Once check before publishing the content whether it's plagiarised or not, because sometimes coincidentally we type the same phrase. You can check here plagrism checker

So guys please be careful don't to plagiarism, Do not replicate sentences, even when you believe them to be helpful; instead, rephrase them or completely rewrite the passage. Although it can take some time, the work will be worthwhile!
