Power Up 100% to Support #club75 | 20% Payout to @steemitphcurator
Good morning STEEMIT PHILIPPINES. How are you all doing today? I hope you and your family were spared from the brunt of the storm last month.
As you may have know, Cebu has not recovered yet from the onslaught of Typhoon Odette. We still have restrictions with accessing internet today, and there is no stable connection in the place I reside. We had to travel from Lapu-Lapu City to IT Park in Cebu to secure a stable connection for my daughter who had to take her Final Examination scheduled today until Monday. While waiting for her to finish the exam, I did my first Power Up for year 2022 to support club75 and increase my influence on Steemit community.
Since I started my journey on Steemit, I was encouraged to join #club5050 and #club75 initiative by Steemit Team. I see majority of the users regularly power up at least 50% of the amount they had withdrawn from the platform. Now I understand the significance of doing so, and I am committed to contribute the same.
This is my wallet before and after the Power Up
Let me show you the process to power up from Steem to Steem Power:
Step 1. Log in to Steemit Wallet using the Private Active Key.
Step 2. Click the drop down menu on Steem Dollars. Tap "Market".
This will direct you to Steem Market where you can perform monetary actions such as Buy/Sell Steem.
Step 3. Enter the desired SBD amount to transfer to STEEM.
Since I plan to Power Up 100% of my income, I entered the available SBD amount and convert it all to Steem. Note that the price is 0.083389 SBD per STEEM, so my 8.013 SBD is equivalent to 96.092 STEEM. Sometimes the price fluctuates depending on the market.
Step 4. Confirm the order created. Click Ok.
Step 5. Click on the drop down menu arrow on steem and tap on Power Up.
Step 6. Enter the amount of Steem to power up and click on Power Up button.
Since my balance is 96.092 STEEM, I entered that exact amount.
Step 7. Confirm Transfer to Vesting by Clicking Ok. Check Wallet to see if the transaction was performed successfully.
As a full support to #club5050 and #club75, I decided to power 100% of my earnings on the 68th day of my Steemit journey.
I joined Steemit last October 31, 2021 and it has been great being in this platform. Aside from learning about cryptocurrency, I was able to share my own life story and get inspired with the kind messages of people from different areas of the world. A lot of positive changes has happened in my life since then.
I understand that STEEM POWER would grant me the ability to curate other people's works. I have read a lot of good contents posted on this platform from other users and I want to be able to curate their efforts for considerable amount. By doing so, I am encouraging amateur and/or aspiring writers to continue writing to their hearts content. I know how if feels to find fulfillment in doing something, such as writing, for as long as I want.
By committing in club5050 and club75, I am contributing my part in maintaining the entire steem ecosystem and increasing my influence on the platform. I am determined to invest in my account by powering up more than half of my earnings rather than cashing out.
