Today is a special part of the holiday program. After a long time, a special lunch has been organized again today, although today's meal is completely different because it will be a vegetarian special meal. My daughter's favorite, special dhokar biryani, this type of dish is made vegetarian in our house. However, cooking this type of biryani takes a lot of time and patience. So, it is not cooked all the time. Biryani means oily, so I don't like it. Once, biryani was my favorite, and now, I don't like it when I hear about biryani. Even then, I cook it at home for many days to satisfy my daughter's cravings. The only difference is that all the ingredients of biryani are used, not just meat or eggs. My daughter will need cucumbers on the day the biryani is cooked, but we always have cucumbers in stock at home, and my daughter eats cucumbers at other times. On the day of biryani, she will eat cucumbers, but I like this because cucumbers help remove the harmful effects of oil.

Today, my wife has prepared another special thing which will enhance the taste of eating biryani. This is a special surprise for us. However, my wife has some special qualities. She can cook pickles, chutneys, biryani, and dhokar biryani very well, and the people next to our house have also praised her a lot. One interesting thing is that after the people next door ate our biryani and chutney, they asked my wife to go to their house one day and cook biryani for them, and she did so. The reason I like this chutney is that it is made with dates, grapes, tomatoes, tamarind, and jaggery, which makes it so delicious.

Today in the afternoon, I set off for a special place, the route was along the waterways of the Buriganga River. It feels like I'm taking a boat trip on a holiday today, but in fact, it would have been even better if I had my family and daughter with me. They were not ready to go and did not want to go. I set off alone. I enjoyed it a lot. I got on the boat. The total cost to cross the river here is 7 takas; you have to pay 3 takas to the leaser and 5 takas to the boatman. I took the reserve alone for 30 takas. While I was crossing by boat, our boat passed a large ship. But from what I saw, my boatman was very skilled.

The water is tumbling in the middle of the river, and the sun is setting at its own pace on this side. Watching the sun set from the middle of the river is a great joy for me. Sitting in a boat, the silence of the river, the gentle waves, and meeting a launch from Dhaka Sadarghat passing by is such a joy. Now we come to the pier, this is the pier of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport, where boats operate 24 hours a day. Next to it is the Narayanganj Port Station.

This is the last festival of our Hindu community for this year; there will be no other festival like this this year. So, I came here, and it was a holiday, so I came. Although it is far from my home, it does not cost much. So, I came alone and attended the event. No da'at or invitation is required for such an event. Just like in a Muslim waz mahfil, no devotee is required to give da'at. What else is this kind of event? I entered the ceremony and focused on it. It's actually a religious ceremony. Attending such a ceremony refreshes the mind and spirit. In fact, those who practice their religion properly have some sense of the afterlife. This is called in our religious language the Eknam Kirtan Mahayajna program, where only religion is discussed. I listened attentively for quite some time. This program will continue for three days and two meals have been arranged here on the occasion of the program and a pottery shop has been set up here on the occasion of the program.
