Good morning friends. How are you all doing? Hope you are fine. I want to give a brief description on my school and as well apply markdowns in my writing.

MICHAEL OKPARA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE is the name of my school. And I’m so excited to be a student of this school. The school is located in Umudike, Umuahia LGA. In Abia State.

There are so many aspects and departments in my school which all operate with different functions and task. I went around the school today and I did take pictures of most buildings.

The Administration Block

Here in the Admin Block is a sector that involves many offices which pertains to the schooling activities of students. All files of every student is been documented in this this place, so they keep record of student-profile. This is also where the Vice Counselor (VC)’s office is located.

I am in the college of Engineering and Engineering Technology (CEET). And in this college we have only six departments which are;

CIVIL ENGINEERING

AGRIC. ENGINEERING

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

COMPUTER ENGINEERING

CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING

SOME PLACES STUDENTS USE FOR LECTURES

This hall is called ACHEBE HALL. Majority of the level that learn here is the 100Level students, due to the facts that they are large in number.

This is another hall called ETF HALL. Used mostly by the 100Level students as well. Some times this place serve as a meeting venue for students of different colleges and department even staff as well.

THE SCHOOL LIBRARY

This school library is a well organized and conducive place for any student to go in for study. I love the library so much because whenever you enter the library, its always so well-kept, the books, the table and chairs settings, and other things that make me happy well I’m there.

THE MALE HOSTEL

This is where the male students residents inside the school, though this is not the only male hostel. There’s another but its farther than where I am.

We also have the lodges where other students who can not stay in the hostel reside. Most of the lodge is located within the school environment. Which gives the students living in it an advantage of arriving at school early.
