How your day going Today I am all set to share my Achievement 2 post about Basic Security on Steem. But first a big thank you to @goodybest for verifying my Achievement 1 post. Your help is awesome
Now let answer the questions in the Achievement 2 task. We are going to learn how to keep our Steem accounts safe

Answer of Question 1:

Yes I have retrieved all my keys on Steemit and I have stored them in PDF document for safekeeping. This include my posting key for daily activitie active key for transactions owner key for emergencies and memo key for encrypted memos.

Answer of Question 2:

Yes I know the functions and restrictions of each key.

Posting Key:
Its like my everyday key for posting commenting and voting on Steem. I use it a lot.

Active Key:
This ones for important stuff like transactions and voting for Steem leaders.

Owner Key:
I keep this for emergencies like if I lose access to my account.

Memo Key:
Its for keeping my messages safe when I send money or do transactions.

Answer of Question 3:

I plan to keep my master password safe in a couple of ways. Firstly I will take a printout and keep it in a secure place in my room. Aditionally I will upload digital copy to my Google Drives so I can access it if needed but I will make sure its protect with strong security passward. I won't shared it with anyone and will makes sure only I have access to it.

Answer of Question 4:

Yes I know how to transfer Steem tokens to another Steem user account:

Step 1: First I need to open my wallet and click on the dropdown menu in front of STEEM.

Step 2: Then I click on "Transfer."

Step 3: Next I enter the username of the Steemit user I want to transfer to along with the amount.

Step 4: Finally I apply my private active key and click on "Confirm" to complete the transfer.

Answer of Question 5:

Yes I know how to power up my STEEM

Step 1: Firstly I open my wallet and click on the dropdown button.

Step 2: Next I select "Power Up."

Step 3: Then I enter the amount of STEEM I want to power up.

Step 4: Finally I apply my active key and confirm the transaction.
