Hello everyone and how is your day going? I am happy to be here cause steemit is a very wonderful platform, it's not just an anyhow platform, it's a platform where you invest and also gain from.
HAVE YOU RETRIEVE ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT.
YES I have retrieved all my keys through the PDF sent by steemit and it have been successfully saved on my Google drive.
DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THESE KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS.
YES, and I am going to list them out and their functions.
1.POSTING KEY_ this key helps in posting, editing, commenting, voting, redeeming and to follow or mute other accounts.
2.ACTIVE KEY_ This key is use for sensitive tasks such as transferring funds converting steem dollars and placing a market and so on.
3.OWNER KEY_This is the most powerful key because it can change any key of an account, including the owner key. The owner key is only meant for use when necessary.
4.MEMO KEY_This key is use for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds.
5.MASTER KEY_This is the first key given to a newbie to retrieve all other keys like the active,memo,owner and posting keys, without this key you can't get an encryption keys in the platform.
HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD.
I am going to print it out and also write it down then I am going to keep it in a very private and secured place.
DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT.
YES I do and the steps goes thus.
1.Firstly I will go to my steemit wallet and login with my posting key and username. After logging in I will check the drop down arrow close to the steem.
2.Then I will click on transfer and input the amount I want to transfer. Then I will input the username of the person steemit name I want to transfer to and then put the purpose for the transfer in the memo box.
- Lastly you input your active key and click OK, then it is sent to the person.
DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM.
YES
I will go to my wallet and click the drop down arrow.
The next thing is to click the power up and put the amount I want to power up and then I will click the power up. After that I will click OK and inputed my active key and username before it will be powered up.
