Cuddly Hollow sculpture with stopmotion/timelapse video

Hey all, with this post I'll share another current project I just finished. The "Cuddly Hollow" sculpture.

I'll try to keep my hollow carves to a minimum here so to not play them out. So this one will be the last for awhile.

It started out as a 2.5ft white pine cookie with the bears drawn out with log crayon.

A few cuts later, found the form.

Then did as much detail as I could with the chainsaw.

Dremel work on the snouts and mouths to get ready for burning and sanding.

After the burn. Now ready for paint.

And here it is after paint.

Decided to record the entire process with over 200 pictures and video footage. Edited and posted to YouTube in a 1 minute video.

The first part was pictures using my phone so its a little jumpy but got smart to finish off with the action cam on a tripod.
