Taking Baby Steps

Those little steps you feel aren't so important are actually the foundation for something bigger. So many people underestimate the potentials in taking baby steps. But they forget that a journey of a thousand miles starts with just one step. Taking the first step is usually the problem. But when you learn to take baby steps, you hardly suffer that problem, because you make sure that your first step is so easy, that you get started.

If you watch the lives of people who always talk about doing just one little thing, taking just that baby step - you'll see continuous progress in everything they do. Most people paralyze themselves by trying to take a giant step. This mostly causes fear and friction in your entire system. Such that you result to doing absolutely nothing. Thus, whenever you have a difficult work that you must do, start with a baby step.

A baby step may mean - clearing away the things that are not useful for your work from your working desk. It may mean dividing that task into several small bits, and starting with the very easiest bit. The idea is basically to get your foot in the door - that is, break the ice, and get started. Human nature takes over from there, as humans tend to continue what we start. If you've taken note, starting is the most difficult part.

When you find brilliant ways to start, you'll see that you may even start enjoying what was seemingly a herculean task for you to do. It may all just start to seem like enjoyable work. But if you don't take that baby step to start, that work may lie on your desk of weeks or months untouched. Taking baby steps is a way of encouraging yourself, so that you overcome the fear of the toughness of the work. It's actually a mind trick to always be willing to start working.

As they say, it's easier to do something hard when you know that you'll be doing it for just 1min. This is the general concept behind the 1min block - where you're encouraged to take that baby step, and start that difficult work, for just 1min; then you stop. It seems to work well, because even when you stop, your mind keeps on working on it, and coming back to continue the work is much easier.

Hello @visioncreativa. the first steps of our life turn out to be as important and indispensable as when you start your first career, as you yourself describe it, no beginning is easy, but it is always important that we take with great firmness that big step and in this way the following ones will be safe and reliable.

Wise words. Thank you.

Greetings @creativeinsight, I agree with you, to start something you must start by getting out of your comfort zone and try to do things differently to get different results, that is achieved with small steps as you mention, things usually are not achieved overnight, it takes a lot of intelligence, dedication and discipline to achieve it.

See you later, have a great weekend.

Success isn't achieved overnight truly. Taking those baby steps prove very important. Thank you.

Those small steps that you feel are not so important are actually the foundation for something bigger.

I totally share with you each of these words my friend it is always important to start with small steps and then move forward with bigger steps. Thank you for sharing such excellent content. Greetings.

Baby steps are extremely important, the more baby steps we take, the more reason we are able to make life progress, although a lot of people are only concerned about the big steps but those baby steps are extremely more important than we can imagine.

You're very correct. People underrate the importance of taking baby steps. Thank you.
