Amanda Pritchard, who is the United Kingdom's National Health Service (NHS) chief, recently warned that there's a surge in the number of young men who are addicted to trading Bitcoin; and most are looking for medical treatment for this addiction.

Amanda stresses that there should be regulations to crypto trading platforms, in order to reduce such occurrences. On 12th of June 2024, Amanda expressed her worries, emphasizing that cryptocurrency trading programs that aren't regulated, are serving as an opening for young men to get hooked into gambling.

In about 15 gambling medical centers, the workers in the NHS solutions, have been seeing more young men who are in trouble, as a result of losses they incurred in cryptocurrency trading. These crypto trading addictions are similar to issues with sport betting addictions on the internet.

Young men who are addicted, are driven by glittering cryptocurrency ads that they see on social media. Amanda stated that this rising addiction could stress the NHS, due to the fact that more young men are looking for medical treatments as a result of losses they experienced.
