What a privilege to be a part of the Project Hope community - some of the reasons!steemCreated with Sketch.

I have had this article in my head for a couple of days, and now I finally have the time to write it down. I have felt privileged to be a part of the community since the day I joined and got to know many of you in the Discord channel and here, but it is becoming clearer and clearer to me also that this is a fantastic community. How come? Why do I say that?

It all came to my mind when I wrote a great article...

I think it was last week that I published a great article. I was really happy about it, I was enthusiastic, and I was looking forward to see all the replies and comments. It was dealing with a question about whether or not Steem and Hive will move side by side (when it comes to price) or if one of them will leave the other behind and turn much more valuable. So far, they have moved mostly in similar patterns, just like XRP and XLM. Will it continue like this? The article is already old, but if you are interested, you can find it here.

Now, I was really happy about the article, but I did published it outside the Project Hope community. Since it was an important article for both platforms, I published it in the Gems community on Steem, and just on my blog here on Hive. Do you know what the results were? One comment on Steemit, and some love from @crypto.piotr, but that was it. Do you guys and girls know what I felt after this? I wasn't angry, sad, or frustrated... but I just felt the privilege of being in the Project Hope community. Do you know why? Because it is a community. It is a community packed with people who are starting to know each other, who are reading each others articles, and who actually comment and give value to one another.

In a way, I was sad that I didn't publish it in Project Hope, because I really would have loved to hear the thoughts of other people, and I guess if I had published it in Project Hope, that is what would have happened. But, I'll be wiser next time.

And that is the difference...

There are communities where people publish posts and hope to get some upvotes. That is fair and square. But, there is a difference with Project Hope, because those who have been in the community for a while and who are active both here and on Discord, is starting to turn into a community of friends and people who have slight knowledge about one another. That means something. Not only do we notice the posts of one another, we also notice if someone turns quiet and doesn't publish for a while.

And one more thing... we try to keep each others back! We have seen some bad cases in which people have been harassed and bullied online from the community, but over and over again, people have stood up and had each others back. Now, that sounds like family to me, not just some online page at which people try to make money with selfish intentions.

Thank you everyone...

So, with this article I just wanted to say thank you to everyone. It feels so great to be a part of the community. One of my big sorrows is that I don't have the time to read all articles published here. But, if you ever want to hear my opinion and you don't seem to hear from me, just tag me, and I will make sure to let you hear my thoughts.

All the best and love from Hungary,

Hello @unbiasedwriter
It's wonderful that example that you put, many times, and it is usual that they only write to win a big vote, and as it says, we all want big votes, that's not bad, now, that's all it is, I do not see the logic.
Encouraging comments, which imply that they read our post, analyzed it and produced something in the reader is necessary. It's not only about voting, but about many other things. It is good to be in this community, a fortune to know people from different countries and that in one way or another we are united by similar interests.

Yes it has been a privilege being here and learning new things almost everyday
It has been possible due to untiring work of @crypto.piotr and all of others.
Very creative post i must say.
Everything so well elaborated.
I have had a great journey so far.

Hello @unbiasedwriter, your post reflects how comfortable you feel when writing for @projecthope, you made a perfect description of what is perceived at first sight in the community, here there is solidarity and concern to learn every day with each article published.

I liked your article conveys transparency and sincerity, see you later friend

Cheers @unbiasedwriter !
Always good to know you can count on the community. I just arrived and I appreciate the kindness of the members. I hope that Steemit will develop as well as this great project.

I feel like the community is doing great, especially here on Steemit, and it is sorely needed to have projects such as this one here on the platform! I really hope that Steem will keep on moving in the same positive direction!

It's indeed a pleasure to be part of such a community. I'm grateful that I got into blogging and crypto. I discovered this community through some very awesome people and I can't thank them enough

Wow, welcome to the community and hope that you will enjoy your time here. Keep blogging, writing, publishing, and invest in your own future!

Project.hope has indeed provided some of us with hope and the reason to become active writer again on steemit, great publication indeed.

Hello @inbiasedwriter.

This post is very important, because the reasons you give to feel fully proud of belonging to this beautiful community are the same that any of us could buy with your reasons and thus be able to analyze the community objectives of Project Hope.

Greetings and thanks for your valuable contribution
