Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

Listening to the sound of snow falling from the roofs, I couldn’t sleep and was eager to step outside to witness the first snowfall of the season. Early in the morning, I finally got up, freshened myself, and started my day by offering prayers at home. Then it was time to go outside and witness the well-accumulated snow. Just opening the door felt fascinating. The white blanket spread all around was truly mesmerising.

I couldn’t hold myself back and straightaway went to measure the snowfall, as it was much more than expected. It was enough to make snow removal and clearing pathways a serious task, and since I am the one in my family who usually does these things, I had to start working even before breakfast. The snowfall felt like a dream because precipitation had decreased considerably over the past year or so, and seeing this much snow together felt as if all the precipitation had been reserved for this moment. It felt like the Almighty had blessed us with enough to revive us.

The whole valley came to a halt. Power lines had been damaged the previous night due to gusty winds, and now it was time to go inside and start the gas heater to beat the cold. I stayed near the heater for some time and then went out again to do some chores, like burning wood under the already installed heavy water container to heat water for use throughout the day. I also needed to clear the heavy snow from the apple trees just behind my house, as it could damage them.

Meanwhile, it was time for lunch, and later I went for congregational prayers at the nearby grand mosque. Just before the prayers, the mechanical department sent their vehicles to clear snow from the roads, and only then could people move towards the mosque. Otherwise, it would have been a tough task. I saw people coming from different corners of the village who, although usually early, arrived late today because snow on their sides was yet to be cleared. The operation was ongoing, thanks to the mechanical department, which is always on its toes in such situations.

After the prayers, I returned home, spending some time with people while walking back. It was a lovely time together, and people seemed content and happy. It felt good to see the satisfaction of those who had been eagerly waiting for some precipitation. Upon returning home, it was time for my cousin to witness the snowfall. He lives in a different division of our state where snowfall doesn’t occur, so I showed him the snow through a video call.

After some time, I noticed a heavy accumulation of snow on our roof, which could potentially damage it. For that reason, something had to be done. I quickly mobilised my brother, and we went to remove the snow from the roof. It was a tough task, but we managed to remove some of it. Not all, but enough to give us some satisfaction and relief.

Later in the day, I again went outside to spend some time with people. I also offered my evening prayers and then returned home, as staying outside during snowy evenings can sometimes be dangerous due to wild animals roaming in search of food. After reaching home, I helped my mother with some household chores, like washing vegetables for the salad. Later, around 9 PM, it was time for dinner. After dinner, I charged my phone for some time by turning on the UPS, and meanwhile, we relied on other arrangements that proved handy.

After spending some time on social media, I finally went to sleep and called it a day.

Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
