The diary game || Better life with steem|| Making a resin art for a wedding gift

A few days ago, I created a resin piece. A customer had commissioned it as a gift for a newlywed couple. To facilitate this, they provided me with the couple's photograph and their wedding date.

Accordingly, I first designed the layout on a computer—incorporating their photo and the date—and created a rough digital mockup to show them how the final piece would look. I then sent this preview via WhatsApp for their approval. They requested a few minor revisions, which I subsequently carried out.

I charged 1,200 rupees for this project, a fee to which they readily agreed. Next, I prepared the resin mold; I mixed and poured the base resin, incorporating two distinct sections: one tinted pink and the other left completely transparent. In the pink section, I added pink glitter and some colored pigments, while in the transparent section, I added only golden glitter.

After allowing the resin to cure for a full day, I placed the couple's photograph into the mold. I positioned a calendar graphic on one side and included the text "Happy Wedding" to convey my best wishes to the couple. I had previously printed, cut out, and laminated all these elements—the photo, calendar, and text—to ensure they would remain protected and would not be damaged by the resin.

After another day had passed, the resin had fully cured and hardened; the transparent sections were crystal clear, and the overall result looked excellent. I then placed the prepared elements onto this cured base layer and poured a final top coat of clear resin over them. I also strategically placed beads, glitter, dried flower petals, and leaves in various spots to enhance the aesthetic. The finished piece looked incredibly beautiful and enchanting—it truly felt as though their cherished memories had been perfectly preserved within the resin. Furthermore, since resin creations are highly durable—resisting decay and breakage over time—preserving memories in this manner is an excellent choice. Upon completing this project, I felt a profound sense of confidence and accomplishment in my work.

After allowing it to cure for yet another full day, I finally demolded the piece; it had set perfectly, was crystal clear, and turned out absolutely beautifully. I separated the components, made the necessary corrections where required, and then took photographs of the finished product.

Later, when the customer arrived, I handed over the item along with its stand and box. They were extremely satisfied and mentioned that they would place similar orders in the future, as well as recommend my services to many others. I felt very happy.

💚THANK YOU 💚
