🚨 Petrol Prices in Pakistan — A Small Meter, A Big Worry

Hello wishing you a very happy great Day to all Steemers.
Sometimes I feel like life in Pakistan is now controlled by a very small thing… the fuel meter of our bike or car.
Today when I looked at this dashboard (just like in the picture), the petrol needle was already going down. And honestly, before even thinking about going out, one thought came into my mind:
“Petrol bharwana hai… ya kaam rehne doon?”
This is not just my thought. This is becoming the thinking of many people around me.
💔 Real Life Situation (Not News, Just Reality)
In Pakistan, petrol prices are not just numbers anymore. They affect everything.
A few days ago, I went to the petrol pump. I only asked for 500 rupees petrol… and the worker gave me such a small amount that I actually felt embarrassed for a second.
It wasn’t like before.
Before, we used to fill tanks. Now we just “manage”.
And the reason is simple — uncertainty.
🌍 What is Causing This?
We hear big words like “global tension”, “oil crisis”, “economic pressure”… but on ground level, it means:
Petrol mehnga
Travel mehnga
Zindagi mushkil
When there is uncertainty in the world, oil prices go up. And since Pakistan imports oil, we feel the pressure immediately.
But honestly, for a common person, these explanations don’t matter much.
What matters is:
Salary same hai… kharch double ho gaya hai.
🚶‍♂️ A Small Personal Habit Change
I noticed something in myself recently.
Before:
Random rides
Extra trips
No tension
Now:
Only important travel
Combine multiple tasks in one trip
Sometimes cancel plans just to save petrol
It feels strange… like freedom of movement is slowly getting limited.
😔 Silent Pressure on Everyone
The worst part is not just money…
It’s the silent stress.
No one talks loudly about it, but everyone feels it:
Bike riders
Rickshaw drivers
Office workers
Even students
Everyone is adjusting, cutting, sacrificing.
🧠 A Thought That Stayed With Me
When I saw the low fuel and that battery light in the dashboard, one thought hit me:
“Gaari ki battery bhi warning de rahi hai… aur zindagi bhi.”
Maybe it’s not just about petrol.
Maybe it’s about how things are becoming harder step by step… quietly.
🤝 Final Words (From Heart)
We cannot control global situations.
We cannot control petrol prices.
But we can:
Support each other
Understand each other
And stay patient
Because right now, everyone is fighting their own small battles.
