"One Picture And One Story Week #62".

Greetings fellow steemians, welcome to my blog it's your friend @woka-happiness, it has been a while, I have not posted for almost three days now 😩 and I have missed everyone, hope you also missed me too 🥹.

Welcome to another episode of "One Picture And One Story Week #62" which is an amazing contest organized by suboohi, special greetings to you ma', @suboohi

The story behind this my picture can easily be told just by taking a glam at the picture, but no need for too many guesses because you are already about to find out, so please remain calm and gently read through to find out how the pictures were taken.

Saturday, the 16th of November 2024, was the cultural day in a nearby school, so my friends and I decided to go watch how some cultures would perform there traditional dance, and also my neighbor's children have been disturbing me to attend there cultural day at school 😂

Because they would also be performing too, so after telling my friends about it, they said why not, let's all go and watch at least we might see some tribes that we weren't aware of, I thought about it and agreed because that's definitely true, I'm from the north but I did not grow up in the north so this made me to not be familiar with many northern tribes.

So finally me and my friends all prepared and got ready to leave, unfortunately, it was one of our squad who would always delay us whenever we were planning to go out just called and said she would love to join us, after she had already told us she wasn't interested in going.

Me and my other friends were left with no choice than to wait for her and she always takes a very long time while getting ready or dressing up to go anywhere, after many hours, she finally got ready, then we left for the school.

Before we could reach the school time had already gone, and they were almost through with the display of the traditional dance, we arrived when the Igbo were still dancing and then we asked if that was all but then we were told that there was still one tradition left.

We were told that the only traditional dance that was yet to be performed was named gbagyi WOW 🥰, I was very excited because that was my first time seeing them perform their traditional dance, although I have heard a lot about them also I heard I was born in their area but I never got the chance to experience what the culture was like.

A few minutes later, after the Igbo people were through then the gbagyi people were called in, I was very excited to watch it was fun, and I loved almost everything they did it was marvelous, well I guess I do not really like their traditional meal, but the rest of their performance was excellent.

Many people were also saying that was their first time hearing and seeing this tradition, they went further to say how fun the performance was, the things they did were very strange to everyone who were seeing them for the first time including myself😂

Well after about 30 minutes had gone, they finished what they were doing.
