My View, Myself Wk45: Europe

For me Europe is home, but let’s start with terminology, what Europe means? If we recall Geography from our school knowledge we can say that it is a continent that is located in Northern Hemisphere. There are many countries that fit into the territory of Europe. Nowadays we know that majority of European countries currently are part of European Union, that was created in order to make trade between countries easier but also to allow people who are from those countries able to travel without Visa and be able to work in the countries of EU.
For me, Europe is a place where we can visit anyone even if the person lives somewhere miles away. I like the idea of one currency “Euro” that is why when we travel we do not need to change any currency.
There are few countries in Europe that I know well: Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, my home country, Austria, Norway.
If to talk about two countries:
the Netherlands, this is a country that is neighbour country to Germany, that is why we travel often to them and the people from Netherlands come to visit Germany. What I love in the Netherlands is the nature especially at the seaside, there are many cafes and restaurants. That is why when someone is on a long walk on beach then one can have a little break and have either some hot drink or food there. What I also like is the history of country and their architecture and museum. I love old windmills. Another interesting and attractive side of the Netherlands is cycling and so many different types of bicycles, that we can travel from one city to another.
Italy is another country that I want to visit, because of their well know food and also I would love to visit country side, there are simple people who do everything themselves and I would love to try to live few days together with those people. I love Italian history and beauty of their buildings but also narrow streets, that are really unique.
I would love to visit Norway, that country attracts me because of the beauty of their nature, endless sea, fiords. I love the fact of white nights, when nights are not dark, it is like evening usually in summer, that sometimes could be warm and even hot. In winter it is just dark for few weeks, it is very weird to spend time in endless darkness and white magic. I would love to experience that myself.
@digi-me is a user from Norway and I really enjoy visiting many different posts that you can find on the account. Of course, my favourite about Art and nature that is presented in this blog about some interesting exhibitions, events, architecture that you can find in many other European countries.
