"Recipe of the Day, Week No. 101: (Eid Special Nawabi Semai Recipe)"

I hope all my chef friends are well and healthy. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am also well. I invite all my chef friends to my another recipe blog. Since Eid is ahead, today I will share with you Eid Special Nawabi Semai Recipe in the Contest: Recipe of the Day. Week No.101 competition organized by @dasudi in the Steemit Iron Chef community.
Cooking semai on Eid is a long tradition, which is a symbol of the joy of the festival and the sweetness of the Sunnah. Made with pure ghee and condensed milk, Nababi semai makes the house happy on Eid morning. Served with cashews, pistachios, raisins and malai, Nababi semai is the best choice for entertaining guests. Nababi semai on Eid is a very rich and delicious dessert, which is mainly made of fried laccha semai and a layer of thick custard.

Making Process
Step 1:
To make Nawabi Semai, I took 400 grams of Lachcha Semai. I put three tablespoons of ghee in a pan on the stove, when the ghee gets hot, I poured the Semai, after frying the Semai with the ghee, I added 1/2 cup of powdered milk and 1 cup of sugar to the Semai. I mixed everything well, stirred continuously and fried it again for three minutes. When the sugar melts completely, stop frying the Semai and remove it from the stove.

Step 2:
To cook Nababi Semai, I made a delicious cream. I put 2 cups of liquid milk in a pan on the stove. I added condensed milk to sweeten the cream. Condensed milk will add more creaminess and richness to the cream. Then I will stir the milk and condensed milk and mix them well. At this stage, I will cook on medium heat.

Step 3:
I made a mixture by mixing two tablespoons of custard powder with half a cup of room temperature milk and mixing it well.

Step 4:
I added the custard powder mixture to the hot milk, then stirred it continuously. After mixing the custard mixture with the milk, the milk will start to thicken a lot. When the cream becomes very thick, I removed it from the stove.

Step 5:
After getting the cream and semai ready, I took a bowl to set the Nawabi semai. After taking half of the fried semai in the bowl, I pressed it with a spoon and set it. After putting the first layer of semai, I poured the cream prepared on the second layer. The cream must be added while it is hot. I added another half of the fried semai on the third layer and pressed it lightly with my hands and set it.

Step 6:
After setting the Nawabi Semai, three layers will form, and when the Semai is served, the three layers will provide different flavors.
Step 7:
After setting the Nawabi Semai, to make it more tempting, I sprinkled pistachios, cashews, walnuts and raisins on top. Now you can double its taste by storing it in the refrigerator, and serve it after setting it again.

Creamy and rich in taste, Nawabi Semai is ready to be served. This Semai is as beautiful to look at as it is royal to taste, making it a great dish to entertain guests on Eid.
