Searching for the Perfect Goat for Eid-ul-Adha
Assalamu Alaikum, I hope everyone is well and enjoying their wives ' Eid al-Adha. Eid-ul-Adha is coming, and on Eid-ul-Adha, all Muslims make a sacrifice to fulfill the Sunnah of Ibrahim. So I also had to buy an animal for the sacrifice. So, I left my house one day and reached a farm in my village where there were different goats.

When buying any animal for sacrifice, we try to make sure that it is perfect in every way, fat, fresh, and free from any kind of defect. Only then does the sacrifice come to us. We have to buy an animal that pleases our heart so that when we sacrifice it, we realize how we sacrifice our beautiful thing in the way of Allah.
They had different goats here, but I didn't like any of them because they were short and very small, so I came back from here, and I found out that there were two goats in the village next to us. I went there again.

When I reached there, they were also very small in stature. There are different types of goats; some are large in stature, some are small in stature, so we had to take it into account. So when I got here, this one was also small in stature, but it was fat, fresh, and had a good weight. But even here, my heart was not ready, so I left them and went ahead because one should buy only the animal that pleases the heart. So here, my heart has not liked anyone so far. I was not going to the market because most of the animals there are fattened by watering them, and their price is increased. So instead of losing money there, it is better to buy a goat from a house.

Then I went to 04 Chak near me where different goats were standing, none of which we liked, but there were some excellent goats among them, and the rates we got here did not match each other because they were not giving us the goat according to the price we had told them, although the goat was of the same price, they were asking for more, which was costing us dearly.

Thus, we tried hard in our surrounding villages and in our own village to find a good goat, but we couldn't find one. One day, while we were sleeping, my cousin knocked on the door. When I went outside, he told me that he had come to sell the goat. Our luck was so good that the goat walked to our house on its own. The man was walking outside with the goat. We went there to see him and check the goat there.
After seeing the goat, I called my father. He also saw the goat. We liked the goat, which was completely black in color, and its hair was very shiny, due to which the goat was also tall. We liked its size. When we asked him for its price, he told us that he would give it 85,000 rupees, which was a very high price.
We talked to him for a long time so that he could sell it to us at a good price because we really wanted to buy this goat. We liked it very much. We had a lot of discussions with him, and finally we bought this goat from him for 70 thousand rupees.

Thank God, we have purchased this animal for sacrifice and will now sacrifice it on Eid al-Adha. May Allah Almighty accept our sacrifice in His highest court.
Thank You

Assalamu Alaikum @ahsansharif Bhai,
I really enjoyed reading your post. Choosing the sacrificial goat directly from a village or farm instead of the crowded Eid market was a very wise decision. After searching in different places, finally finding the perfect black and healthy goat according to your father’s choice must have been very satisfying. In my opinion, even with a bit of bargaining, buying such a good animal for 70 thousand taka seems like a great deal. Your writing beautifully reflected the joy and peace of choosing the Qurbani animal with family. May Allah accept your sacrifice. Ameen.
