Ci chiamavamo “Hurdy Gurdy Girl and Boys”.

...continua

One evening Luca goes down to take out the garbage, but when he tries to return to his house, on the 20th floor of a suburban building, he discovers that another person lives in his apartment and that his life, as it was until some moment before, it no longer exists. From this moment on, new and unexpected adventures begin for Luca, which mix with the memories of his old life.

Camarilla Brilla

Finished the pleasantries, we to take her for the ass, she to take a slap we immediately made friends and entered by arrogance, that is with his typical style, to be part of the group. So I lost my job as a singer and limited myself to playing keyboards, writing lyrics and music. Rita also found a guy, Aldo, who played the drums, he also played it quite well but he wasn't our friend, it took him a while to get it down.
After two months of rehearsing with Rita on vocals we had transformed from three morons making a mess into the best group in the country. We called ourselves ""Hurdy Gurdy Girl and Boys"". Ours was also the best group in the world of ""Rusty Plow Rock"", the rock of the rusty plow, a dutiful tribute to our companion of adventures who shared with us the old barn. Obviously we were the only band in the country and the only one in the world to do rusty plow rock, but these are useless clarifications that we gladly omitted. Rita was a drag and it was impossible for us to stop her, assuming we wanted to, trying to stop her could be dangerous. Physically dangerous.
We began to do concerts in the village and then in the neighboring villages. They never threw rocks or glass bottles at us, which was already a huge success in the area. Just the fact that it was Rita singing made us a trendy group, at least in the area. Seen closely, Rita was more awe than lust, but seen from under a stage, a few meters away, she looked like a statue. Her red hair was very rock and also looked rusty once it was explained to everyone that she meant rusty.
We also had to tell often and gladly where the name of the group came from. Rita in fact also played the hurdy-gurdy, whose English name is, in fact, hurdy gurdy. Back then we did a very rock genre but she managed to put her hurdy-gurdy into several pieces. Seeing her turn to the rhythm of rock that infernal handle was a scene that many did not want to miss at all, the three of us were among those many and we were thanked for being part of the group to be able to see it up close, from the stage.
Rita was not very feminine, she had been raised by her father as a boy, she had taught her to do heavy work, to play hurdy-gurdy, to lead hands when necessary. And she had learned everything very well. She especially to lead hands. She had a beautiful, strong, powerful voice. The audience, however, tended to observe her breasts more, one of Rita's many exuberant and exaggerated things, than to dwell on her ability to modulate notes.
