...continua

One evening Luca goes down to take out the garbage, but when he tries to return to his house, on the 20th floor of a suburban building, he discovers that another person lives in his apartment and that his life, as it was until some moment before, it no longer exists. From this moment on, new and unexpected adventures begin for Luca, which mix with the memories of his old life.

Camarilla Brilla

Rita was pissed off a lot, rather than being stunned she was shit, she began to insult me, to say that I was thinking only of me and not of the group, that I would have regretted having abandoned them because they found a loser like me immediately and success. they would have done them and without me.
I let them talk, even if the tones were different, even Dario and Massimo underneath considered me a traitor, one who takes advantage of friends to push his way out.
When they vented and finally got me to speak again I explained clearly, without the slightest chance of being misinterpreted that I had no intention of accepting.
“I chose Elena, we're getting married soon, I'll find a serious job and get my head straight. I'm sorry guys but I think this thing opened my eyes. We are playing, we have been playing. But if you have to get serious, I don't feel like leaving Elena at home alone practically always. Even if it had happened to the group, if the record company had wanted to do the contract to all of us, I would have said no anyway. "" I realized that I was done with that, that I was dead to them, I broke the toy under their nose and they would not forgive me easily.
Rita never forgave me. Dario and Massimo were my friends since we were little and little by little, as it should be, we recovered our friendship, even if it was never the same as before, there was always that black cloud above us that threatened rain whenever we were, even just to have a beer.
I left after that tirade without waiting for their response, I had no desire to hear other discussions that in any case would not have made me change my mind. I no longer set foot in the barn, no more rehearsals, no more concerts. To my amazement the Camarilla Brilla did not disband, rather they continued almost immediately. Within me for a while I cultivated the idea of being indispensable. Instead, in my place, they hired another keyboard player. I discovered it a few months later, when I saw a poster advertising their concert. That first time I felt betrayed by them. A few months later, however, without saying anything to any of my old bandmates, I went to hear one of their concerts. My replacement was fucking good, I thought, he's almost as good as me. In reality, perhaps he was better than me, I don't think at that moment I was able to judge serenely. In short, they were strong, the public loved them as before, they had already forgotten about me.
I never saw their other concerts again. A few months later, however, I came across one of their records, released by a small label, but in a very professional way. I bought it and couldn't help but admit it was really well made. They released two more very good records, then I never heard of them again. In the meantime I had reconnected relations with Dario and Massimo, but we never talked about the group and its successes or failures, it was a taboo subject, an open wound.
