Hi friends!

Our friend @ezunjoshy has published his drawing for the first homework contest, along with a series of exercises that he has done following the examples proposed in the first lessons.
I am impressed to see how many sheets were drawn with circles, parallel lines, geometric shapes, etc, etc. He took the exercises seriously. You can see his exercises in his post. here.

The drawing made by @ezunjoshy is very clean and nice to look at, all the lines are consistent, giving depth to the scene, and the spheres are drawn correctly giving a good sense of perspective both because of the size, the distance between them and the sharpness that it fades as the spheres stay away from the viewer. Very well done, congratulations!
I noticed that the weak point in this drawing is in the darker areas, but that's an issue we haven't seen yet.
The most important part of this exercise was mastering freehand drawing, that is done correctly here.
On the other hand, I see a weak drawing in the sense that there is no contrast, the whole drawing is flat, perhaps for fear of damaging the paper with the pressure of the pencil or for fear of spoiling the drawing by trying to give more intensity in some parts. That is also something we will see later, don't worry.

I leave here the drawing that is shown as an example in the homework and the drawing made by @ezunjoshy to better explain what I mean.
Notice how all the lines have the same value in your drawing, unlike in the example where the lines vary in intensity depending on where the elements are.
The shadows are barely visible in his drawing, except for the big one on the left which doesn't look like a shadow but more of a smear.
I make these observations only to help you look at his own work critically and to teach you what to observe. Learning to observe is also a very good and necessary exercise.

Finally, @ezunjoshy has done a very good job, he has done exactly what was asked to do.
Keep it up, friend!

Good homework. You have a diligent student. I like his pencil and charcoal drawings. At one time, he was in our support program and he is one of those who continues to work hard further.

Yes, I know it. I also like his portrait drawings.

Thanks, for the lessons and for this pointer, I'll work on that.
