#club5050 Brain Boosting Coffee

in WORLD OF XPILAR2 years ago

I woke up early again. One day I will have a lie-in. I put on my green for going out no heel socks and my number one hoodie.

I power walked to the coffee shop around the corner. I stopped though to look at and photo the frosty hedge.

You never know whether we will see more of the white face of winter this year here in London.

One of the baristas even opened the door for me. This is how the Queen is treated in her neighbourhood. Actually it took me ages trying to put gloves back on as the door didn’t open automatically and I can’t deny that I think twice before I touch whatnot outside my house.

I ordered my usual cappuccino with coconut milk and I hung around whilst one of the friendly girls made it.

The prices went up after New Year. Now my preferred hot drink costs over £3.

Has it got a gold leaf on top instead of chocolate? It doesn’t actually. Another customer, a letting agent I suppose, here to meet some clients even commented on the high prices out loud. The girl behind the till just shrugged shoulders. Not much to say really. She is not a business owner and can’t do anything about this at all. She even has nobody to report it to.

Walking back I was bypassed by a group of mums jogging pushing a buggy each.

I didn’t forget to recycle the cup in the bin with the blue lid outside.

Thank you ever so much my friend @adeljose I am glad that you enjoyed my little outing. I loved that cup of coffee and actually I am just about to make some at home. There are so many pretty and interesting things which surround us in our daily life and are in the end of the day worth posting about. Cheers and have a fantastic Sunday.

Cappuccino with coconut milk? Hmm... And someone else drinks decaf coffee... or cocaine without cocaine. Or non-alcoholic vodka. A joke, of course. :)
And why don't you drink coffee with natural milk?

When I saw your white flowers, I decided that you wanted to tell me about the spring in London. But then I realized that you have such a winter. :)

And why don't you drink coffee with natural milk?

This is a great question indeed which I was actually hoping that somebody would care to ask. So thank you. I haven't got a serious reason for having coffee with coconut milk though. I am not vegan or lactose intolerant. I like how fragrant the coconut milk is and I love its taste. To me it is a holiday in a to go cup as it brings up summer memories. So that day despite the frosty morning I felt like I am barefoot on a beach in the Dominican Republic for instance where my £3 would have bought me at least three cappuccinos. I hope you had a great start of the week my friend and see you around.

Thank you for such a detailed answer.
Usually in Russia they say "Monday is a hard day." But I never say that about myself.
Today was a good day.

It's probably hard to find coconut milk here. But I'll try to find it. There is very little of it from coconut. :)
In our country, many products are made from coconut oil. And this is very bad. This is a big problem. Many people are not ready to buy quality products. Especially now. Everything is getting more expensive every day.

#wox-bestpick of the day goes to @petface
