Hello dear Steemians,

I have already mentioned yesterday that my day starts with inspection of our baby climbing plants. There are three that we bought few months ago I randomly chosen three but when we arrived home I noticed that the colours are all violet or purple, maybe those colours looks great in combination with green. According the information about the plants they expected to be 2 m height for one and other two to 3 meter.

I am really excited to see them strong and healthy, but that might take really some time. On other hand my hubby says that it is possible that for those plants it is too cold here in Scotland and I should no expect too much. I do not want to look for that because if it is the case then I will be upset.

Lovely! I have tried so hard to establish vines, but I have little success in my short season and harsh sub-arctic climate. I did manage to bring a grape vine through last Winter, so at least I have that. I also was given some wild cucumber sprouts from my neighbour. I have high hopes for that. I need to succeed because I have a large pergola that I need to cover. :-P I do not want to resort to hops.

I can understand in the climate where you live it is difficult to have vine plants as they are mostly for outside, I love wild wine which is typical for Italy with their nice warm climate :)

OH how I wish to live in a climate like Italy. God landed me in the frozen tundra though, so I will have to make do. :-D

What beautiful plants you bought. If they are purple of course they would look great with the color green, or on their own. I wish you thousands of successes in your sowing, greetings! 💗🌸

Yes, the plants when they are strong and probably when they are couple of years old they will be looking great :)

Your plants are good but if it is not growing then you can add magnesium sulphate powder to them, this is what I use in my plants, it has made my plants green and healthy And many flowers have started blooming on them, you can also try adding magnesium sulfate to your plants.

Yes, that is good idea, we have used the mix nutrient hope that will be some effect in near future :)

Hi @stef1 climbing plants are great to use for Trellis too like in front of the house outside or wherever you want to put it like Bougainvillea because it has very pretty flowers in variety of colors.

Then there is also a wild grapes when they bear fruits will give an accent to its beauty when it already established its vines on the outer wall of the house.

I think the boring walls of buildings and walls became lively and also attractive having the beautiful green plants but also with multi-colour flowers :)

Beautiful plants. I love the purple color because it transmits a lot of tranquility. The green and purple combination is beautiful. I hope your plants withstand the cold of Scotland. Happy and blessed day
