I’m going for it!
I think I must have read the update of 14 June about country representatives at least a hundred times.
I am friends with numerous current country representatives and these guys and girls are fulfilling their roles in remarkable manners.
They are for sure contributing to the growth of the Steemit platform.
Will I ever be good enough to do the same?
This is the question I kept on asking myself over the last few days.
And then I get these kind of responses;

The Role:
I am not going to sell myself. Nope, I just want to be honest. After all I am sure by now you who I am, where I serve and what I can accomplish.
- Support of Steemians (new and old)
- Growth and development of Steem and Steemit
- Promote and support new projects and initiatives launched by Steemit Inc and Tron
We sat this afternoon trying to get some stats for South Africa but unfortunately it was not to be.
Steemit is currently non-existent in South Africa. Steemians moved to where they think the grass is greener, little do they know.
Building the Steemit platform and Steem for that matter is going to take a lot of dedication and work. I am also pretty sure that the results of the hard work will only be seen after a good numerous of months.
BUT, if I can get it right the reward in achieving it will be absolutely worth it.
I am up for the challenge and I am willing to commit to point 1, 2 and 3 by giving it my 100%.
With the support and advise of the Steemit team and my fellow Steemians I am convinced we can restore Steemit in my beloved country South Africa to the powerhouse it was before.
