Junk Food! Anyone?
Today I decided to treat myself. Usually I stick to my fitness routine, but every now and then a little off the way or what you call junk, makes life sweeter. I used to do it a lot during my traveling days but no more.

It was one of those Sunday moods when I wanted comfort food, so I walked to my favourite shop and bought kachori, jalebi, and bhature. The kachori was hot and crisp, filled with spiced lentils that gave a familiar, homely flavour.
The jalebi looked golden and sticky, and I could not resist its sugary spiral calling out to me. The bhature were soft and fluffy, perfect with a bowl of spicy chole.
I came back home and took our first bite and felt nostalgic. Actually, these flavours remind me of childhood mornings and local markets. I savoured every piece, enjoying the contrast of textures and tastes: crunchy, syrupy, tangy, and spicy.

I did not overeat but I just enjoyed mindfully. Later I went for a short walk in the park to balance things out. But being my curation and reporting day, I made it short.
Treating myself today felt like a small celebration of life’s simple pleasures. Tomorrow I will get back to my regular routine, but for now, I am happily content. Look in this video how they cook them.
