My Actifit Report Card: August 9 2022
Another very wet and soggy day here in the Northern Hemisphere… it’s even too wet for all the frogs. Which is kind of weird since I thought they liked water. Maybe they got washed up out of the river ?
Or are these toads ?
These are the brightest greenest frogs I have ever seen. They are almost iridescent .. glowing … neon.
They don’t seem to be from around these parts … maybe they got washed down the Mississippi or something.
Very strange.
Anyways had a good walk before the skies opened up again and soaked the earth again.
I hope nobody is camping this week. All this non stop rain would make for a very soggy tent.
I remember when we were kids camping in New Brunswick one summer and it rained so hard that our old canvas tent got so saturated with water that it shrunk.
I think that was the last time I really went camping in a tent.
Anyways. I sure hope the sun comes out tomorrow.

Frogs are so cool! When I was a little girl, I was about the only girl who had 2 pet frogs. I was never afraid! Very cool colors for sure!
