The Diary Game: Sunday 3rd April 2022: A Day at the Italian Restaurant, Yaounde

Hello there, dear steemians, I am quite delighted to be part of this wonderful community as I stand right now to share my glorious day of Sunday 3rd after meeting this two beautiful souls at a restaurant. The photo below shows the two aforementioned beautiful souls which I will be narrating how I met them and how spectacular the day transpired. Let’s get started.

Morning Period

Well, let me begin with the early part of the day. I woke up this said Sunday at around 7:45am. Not strange tho, lately I have found myself really getting much lazier in getting up from bed early enough. Nonetheless, I have no problem as I do complete most of my task for the day really late at times. In this regards I find myself sleeping quite late.

My second duty after waking up from bed was doing my bed, which I did after taking my unique photo from the mirror in front. I took a bath, made breakfast and later that day at about 1pm I took a walk to the Italian Restaurant at Carrefour Cradat in Yaounde Cameroon.

I couldn’t agree much with you that the soul aim of this walk to a classic restaurant was just for a meal. It wasn’t!
I have actually been feeling lonely this past days and had a feeling I’ll meet someone special. I spent about 2 hours after my meal of fried chicken 🍗 and plantains. This two hours was spent just drinking as I was later joined by a friend. We discussed and discussed until, thé aforementioned two beautiful souls walked entered the restaurant and sat just next to my table. I couldn’t help it but watched them eat and paid their bill before mentioning a word to them.

Well, I just behave like a born Cameroonian. What if I chatted with them first and I was compelled to pay their bill out of “big boys stuff”. Not embarrassing tho, the act was well played and I jumped into their conversation at the right time.

This is the one I was caught up with, in less than no time we exchanged names and numbers and what? We took and exchanged some photos.
Blessed be the day I met Pauline. Though she is a francophone, I wouldn’t agree less with you that it has been hell of time a time trying to make a conversation as I do most at times with the usage of google translate.

In as much as we had an introduction, so will we have a conclusion. This will be brief enough as my target to the Italian Restaurant was fulfilled. I wouldn’t say much about the later part, but in my next write ups, I will definitely bring the popping up happenings.
