Today i will be talking about depression, depression have become a common illness that most people encounter in our today world, so i will talking on what is depression, causes, and ways of regulating depression.Guess you will enjoy reading this content.
Depression is a bad feeling of loneliness, unhappiness, and emptiness that arises without any impetus or reason.
Feeling sad and hopeless sometimes is not bad, but continual sadness and unhappiness might lead to suicide.
This illness can affect anyone including adults, teenagers, students, and even children.
Depression can last for some days, weeks, months, and years.
Many people are going through this chronic illness, that is why it is advisable to call and check up on people. smiles and laughter can be deceptive.
They are several symptoms of depression and they include
•unhappy or melancholic look.
•lack of energy or tiredness
•feelings of worthlessness
•lack of concentration
•always thinking of attempting suicide
•lack of interest in prior things that make you joyous.
•desiring total solitude
•lack of sexual desire
•gradual emaciation
•reduction in the rate of communication.
•Stress: lack of rest might lead to disheartenment.
•Life issues: problems such as relationships, marriage, work matters, monetary, business, and medical predicaments tend to lead to recession.
•Close friends or family with depression: depression is transferable if you are always with a friend or family member that is depressed, you are likely to get depressed too.
•Medical problems: Possessing chronic medical problems such as HIV or Diabetes can steer despair.
•Lack of support or assistance can lead to sadness and pessimism.
•Hard drugs and alcohol: taking hard drugs and alcohol, particularly amphetamines and strong drinks can lead to cavities.
Depression is curable, and seeking early medication is advisable.
•Talk to a doctor: a medic will assist in prescribing antidepressants that will help to prevent depression.
•Ask for assistance: talk to trusted people like friends, colleagues, and family.
•Talk to a therapist: psychologist might assist in finding a solution to the depression through one on one counseling.
•Do things that make you happy: doing things you love most will help in ameliorating depression.
•Avoid being lonely: Always hang out with people, interact and catch some fun, it is so important to health.
