I'd much rather pick strawberries than spread mulch. But I guess I'd rather spread mulch than fight weeds and dry soil all summer!
My tiny littlee strawberry patch is a first year patch, but we've gotten about 5 berries from it. ☺
I've seen pictures of your gardens later in the season. I've been looking forward to watching them progress through a growing season!
Well, they are both things I can only do in the cool of the morning. And strawberries don't last long, whereas that mulch pile will be there forever...
