Great post, and yes trimming goat hooves is a must, maybe try to let them run around on hard surfaces they wear down the hooves a little so you don't have to do it every month
And it's not like a fingernail, their hooves are their fingernails, they are just standing on 2 fingers, and if you go look at a horse anatomy, they are standing on 1 finger only, it's actually quite funny
