From Fajr to Isha: How Rain Turned My Day Into an Achievement Session
Hello everyone, welcome to my life diary day one, here’s how my day went today.
I woke up around 5:00am today and the first thing I did was to make my supplication for waking up, went to releive myself, then did ablution and headed to the mosque for morning prayer. We do start prayer by 5:20 and finish around 5:35 - 5:40am, after observing my salah(prayer) I stayed back to make my supplication and greeted some friends before heading home.
Did my morning chores and grabbed some Akara for breakfast. I was set to go to work, but heavy rain started and was unable to go for work, so I stayed home.
Instead of just scrolling on my phone watching content on social media, I decided to utilize my time.
Though I started learning motion graphics recently on my smartphone, so I instead took out my phone and dove into tutorials I downloaded from YouTube. I watch and watch again inorder to understand the tool I was to use called "Alight Motion App", that's what I use for my practice, after watching, and tried to replicate what I just watched, I fail, I tried again, I fail again, then finally get it, though wasn't looking professional as the one I was replicating, though that took me not less than 3 hours hours.
I was exhausted from the several attempts and then slept off, by the time I woke up it was already to one. I then prepared myself for the next prayer.
Around 1:15pm I went back to the mosque for the next prayer, then rain was still dropping down. My friend and I sat there till 3:30, then I came home for a bit, went back at 4:00 for Asr, and after that I went to teach kids Quran and some hadith, and closed by 6:00.Came back, reviewed my tutorial practice for a few minutes, then relaxed. Headed out again for Maghrib at 6:40. Got home, had dinner after 8:00pm, and that was how my day went.
Rain canceled my work but didn’t cancel myprogress. Some days you just pivot and stack skill points instead. Alhamdulillah for a productive one.
