Today started with an important task. I went to the bank to deposit my children's school fees. As expected, there was a crowd of people waiting for their turn. After completing the payment and finishing the necessary formalities, I started my journey back home. The weather was quite warm, which is common during the summer season.
While returning, I noticed several fruit carts lined up along the roadside. Their colorful displays immediately caught my attention. Among all the fruits, fresh mangoes stood out the most. During the summer months, mangoes become available everywhere, and their sweet aroma attracts almost everyone. Seeing those ripe and juicy mangoes made me want to buy some.
I stopped at one of the carts and spoke with the fruit seller. He had different varieties of mangoes neatly arranged on his stall. After checking a few of them, I selected some fresh mangoes and bought them to take home.
Mangoes are often called the "King of Fruits" because of their unique taste, rich flavor, and popularity. Many people eagerly wait for mango season throughout the year.
When I reached home, I first had my lunch and spent some time relaxing. Later, I washed the mangoes and placed them in cool water for a while. After they were chilled, I sat down with my family to enjoy them. The mangoes were sweet, juicy, and full of flavor. Every bite felt refreshing in the summer heat.
The simple act of buying and eating mangoes turned an ordinary day into a pleasant one. Seasonal fruits have a special charm, and mangoes are undoubtedly among the most loved fruits in Pakistan. Enjoying fresh mangoes at home after completing the day's responsibilities brought a sense of satisfaction and happiness.
