Four teams competed in the D'Legend U-40 tournament at the Falsenine mini-soccer field in Lhokseumawe on Sunday, August 31, 2025. The mixed team earned 7 points, scoring 4 goals and conceding 1.
Munawir and his teammates actually had the same number of points as the second-placed BSI team. However, Albo had the advantage in goal difference. The BSI team, also supported by quality players, conceded 2 goals, resulting in a 1-goal deficit, despite both teams scoring 4 goals.
Albo FC boasts above-average players and plays aggressively in every match. Albo FC captain, Munawir, inspired the team with his ability to control the flow of the attack. The Dewantara sub-district head also provided several assists throughout the match.
Meanwhile, Unimal FC from Malikussaleh University finished in third place after losing 0-1 to BSI and Albo FC twice. Despite playing well in both matches, Mariyudi and his teammates failed to convert their chances into goals.
In the match against BSI, Unimal FC striker Dr. Mariyudi had three clear chances, but his shots and headers always went wide.
A similar situation occurred in the match against Albo FC. Despite controlling possession and creating numerous chances, Razali, one-on-one with the opposing goalkeeper, failed to score. Marwan and his teammates only won once, defeating Kasama FC, who finished bottom of the table.
The D'Legend U-40 tournament was held as part of a strengthening of ties between several institutions. "So, the final result of the match is not the main goal, even though all teams are looking for a win. Hopefully, similar events can be held again in the future," said the lecturer from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Malikussaleh University.[]
