Launch of the BANGKIT Tourism Program: North Aceh Prepares New Steps to Welcome the 2025 Aceh Tourism Ambassador Election |

The North Aceh Regency Government, together with the North Aceh Inong Agam Association, officially launched the BANGKIT Tourism Program, a creative initiative to revitalize Samudera Pasai tourism, history, and culture while also preparing North Aceh representatives for the 2025 Aceh Inong Agam Election.

The Chairman of the North Aceh Inong Agam Association, Muhammad Hatta, stated that the BANGKIT Program is a package of activities specifically designed to support this year's tourism ambassador competition and is intended as a sustainable program for the regional tourism sector.

"We've already started our first trip to explore 10 historical sites at the Samudera Pasai Cemetery, and this will become a regular activity. We will soon plan the next trip to open up more educational and cultural promotion opportunities for the younger generation," he said in Lhoksukon on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Full support also came from the Head of the North Aceh Tourism, Youth, and Sports Office, Zulkifli, M.Pd., who was inaugurated two days ago. He expressed his appreciation for the creativity of North Aceh's youth in strengthening the regional tourism sector.

The Department of Youth, Sports, and Creative Economy (Disporaparekraf) fully supports this movement and is committed to increasing the number of local and international tourist visits. "As a form of support for Agam Muksalmina and Inong Nursyifa Syawani, we are also preparing tour packages to the best destinations in Indonesia, especially if they both win first place in the 2025 Agam Inong Aceh Competition," he emphasized.

Representing the Regent of North Aceh, the Assistant for Economic Affairs and Development of the North Aceh Regional Secretariat, M. Nasir, M.Si., stated that the BANGKIT Program is an important step in reviving the great history of the Samudera Pasai Kingdom, which was once the center of power for the kings and sultans of the archipelago.

"This program is not just a competition, but also a way to revive the glory of the past, which has been under-represented. We hope that North Aceh tourism ambassadors can bring honor to the region at the provincial level," he said.

The event concluded with the official kick-off of the BANGKIT Tourism Program, which was officially launched by the Regent of North Aceh, H. Ismail A. Jalil (Father Wa). Through this program, the government hopes to foster a sustainable movement that can strengthen the tourism identity, promote the history of Samudera Pasai, and increase regional pride in the eyes of the public.[]
