Universitas Malikussaleh Community Service Program Students Hold Senada, What's It?

Group 16 of the 28th Community Empowerment Learning Community Service Program (KKN-PPM) at Malikussaleh University held the Senada (Exercise, Watching Together, and Children's Socialization) activity centered in Pante Gurah Village, Muara Batu District, North Aceh Regency, Indonesia.

The Senada activity was designed to provide a platform for education and character development in children through a fun and interactive approach. The series of activities included group morning exercise, watching educational films, and promoting an end to bullying.

"There was also an icebreaker session on understanding private areas of the body that should not be touched by others, as well as the distribution of reward packages and snacks to the children," said Ahmad Alfarisyi from Group 16 on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

According to him, this activity aims to instill healthy living values, increase children's awareness of mutual respect, and provide a basic understanding of self-protection from an early age.

"We want to present activities that are not only entertaining but also have educational value. Through Senada, children are invited to learn about the importance of healthy living, mutual respect, avoiding bullying, and recognizing the boundaries of personal space in a fun way," he added.

This activity received high enthusiasm from the children of Gampong Pante Gurah. They actively participated in every activity, from morning exercise to educational sessions and interactive games. A cheerful and togetherness atmosphere was the main characteristic of the event.

Lecturers and the Pante Gurah community also appreciated the students' initiative in presenting a program oriented towards strengthening children's character.

The Senada activity is a concrete form of student contribution in supporting the growth and development of children in the village, including aspects of health, education, and character building. Programs like this align with the spirit of KKN-PPM (Community Service Program) as a form of community service.

Through the Senada activity, Ahmad Alfarisyi continued, they want to emphasize their commitment to continue playing an active role in creating a healthy, safe, and child-friendly environment, while strengthening harmonious relations between students and the Gampong Pante Gurah community.[]
