The Diary Game: Reading In Group And Weekend Activities (07/02/2026)

My friends and I had agreed to meet in school by 10am so we could read together. When I got up from bed this morning, I did my morning exercise before sweeping the compound as it was my turn to do do before I took my bath, got dressed and left to school. I called my friends as I arrived school and told them that I've gotten to school, they directed me to the hall they were reading and I walked down to meet with them. I got there and we greeted ourselves before I got into the business of reading.

We sat there reading till 3pm when I was very hungry but lacked money for snacks so I tasked my friends for money not knowing we are all bird of same feathers, school boys with zero naira home and abroad. My friends were tired and one had already taken a break to rest his head and seeing that made me lose focus. I began to think of what I'll eat when I get home, I called my daddy to inform him of how tough things are and also request for some money from him and he promised to send a little money for food first.

Within some minutes, alert dropped in my phone and I saw two thousand one hundred naira from my dad. I walked down to a restaurant with my boys and we bought a plate of okro soup and fufu, I demanded for a take away. I got home and ate the meal with my guys who had followed me back home, I took my bath before having a rest.

While I was still relaxing, I heard a vehicle drive into our compound and I went out to see who it was, my landlady had returned from her visit to her daughter who had just put to birth and she returned with lots of food items. I assisted her to offload her items from the vehicle before going back inside to continue with my rest. I heard a knock on her door end I went for it, my landlady handed me a basket of onions and few other food items.

Truly, the Lord knows how to provide for his own. I now had two options of things to prepare for dinner, I got into work and made porridge plantain for dinner. I ate before going to church for campus fellowship which took just an hour though I stayed to join choir rehearsal. I took my bath when I got back to the house, ate again and sat outside to receive fresh air while writing my diary.
