Do you know why some countries are scared of why other countries start talking about nuclear weapons? it is because the world has witnessed what nuclear weapons did in Japan in Hiroshima and Nagasaki after nuclear weapons were used in those two cities they have never been used in war again since 1945.

The world had already been in war for six years, conflict began in 1939 when Adolf Hitler the leader of Germany ordered the invasion of Poland as part of his ambition to expand German territory and influence throughout Europe, before other countries began choosing sides forming alliances. The war started as an original conflict, then gradually grew into the global war. One side stood Britain, the US, France, and the Soviet empire together they became known as allied powers opposing them.

They were the axis powers made up of Germany, Italy, and Japan? Let’s start in Japan. Japan also has its own ambition for expansion for use. It has been extending it control across Asia by invading parts of China and neighboring territories in order to secure resources and strengthen its position in the region, time pass relationship between Japan and United States became very tense. Then, in December 1941, Japan launched a surprise attack on the American Naval base at Pearl Harbour in Hawaii. Several warships were destroyed, and more than 2000 people lost their lives. The United States was not yet directly involved in any war. It had mainly been supporting nations that were fighting against Germany, helping them with financial aid and military supplies. However, the attack on Pearl Harbour changed everything.

The following day, the United States declared war on Japan, and soon after Germany declared war against the United States and America, they responded by declaring war on Germany as well. From that moment, the United States was carefully involved in World War II. Fighting against two parties, Germany and Japan, over the next several years, the conflict cost serious destruction across multiple continents. Cities were bombed, the entire community were devastated, and millions of soldiers lost their lives and homes, and there were a processes long before atomic bombs entered the picture, many cities had already suffered devastating attacks from just normal bombs, including a very powerful air strike on Tokyo.

In march 1945 , the military air base dropped thousands of fire bombs in the populated city of Tokyo, killing over hundreds of thousand people and rendered over a million homeless. This remains the most destructive single air attack in history, yet despite that destruction japans government did not surrender, despite the pressure Japanese leaders continued the war, meanwhile, the United States was becoming exhausted and the searching for the quickest way to bring the conflict to an end. While the fighting continued, America had secretly been developing a revolutionary new weapon through the program known as the Manhattan project.

In 1942, the USA secretly brought together scientists and military personnel to craft an atomic bomb. Fearing Germany might develop it first. They tested the bomb in July 1945 in New Mexico, resulting in a massive explosion that confirmed its effectiveness.

The allied forces then issued a final warning to Japan demanding surrender and cautioning that refuser will bring severe consequences. Japan, of course didn’t accept those terms, and the war continued. Mind you, that warning was just to fulfil all righteousness they knew that the Japanese government would not surrender.

So after America dropped the atomic bomb in japan, the city of Hiroshima on 6th August 1945 , they dropped the second bomb after three days of bombing Hiroshima in Nagasaki. Because no one has ever seen what nuclear weapon, aka atomic bomb , has done before, and the Japanese government witnessed the capacity of the nuclear weapons they surrender, that was how the second war 2 stopped. Since then, no country has been allowed to use the atomic bomb again.

Thanks.
