The Dairy Game: A Visit To My Friend's House And Going To The Hair Salon. (28/02/2026)
I woke up at late hours of the morning due to the fact that it's not a work day for me. I thought of who I should visit today, a lot of friends came to my mind, notwithstanding, Chidi topped the list because his junior brother had visited me about two days ago. I felt I should also return same favor to him.
I had to brush my teeth, take my bath, wear a blue sleeveless top and short, then went to the kitchen to get food for myself. After eating, I informed my younger brother that I will be going to visit my friend, I left the house, boarded a motorcycle to the house of my friend named Chidi.
When I arrived his house and pressed the bell, his younger brother Emeka came out to check who is at the gate, when the gate was opened, as soon as he saw me, he ran inside to inform his brother Chidi that I am around. Emeka directed me to the guest room, while I waited for about four to five minutes, Chidi came to meet me , I stood up,we hugged our selves for couple of seconds, exchanged pleasantries then sat down.
We discussed a lot of things, we went down memory lane on conversations about our high school activities and post high school activities, workplace issues, and a lot of things. I was served a sumptuous meal, I rested at the sofa for some minutes, then he decided to take me round his compound, the family poultry, the library, the farm and some rooms to see.
It was indeed a wonderful moment to have time with this friend of mine. It was time for me to leave. So I told him I'll like to go the hair salon to have a haircut because my hair was already grown. He escorted me just a stone throw from his house, I waved at him, then booked a taxi to the hair salon.
I arrived at the salon, told the barber the style of hair I like. He was professional enough to give me the hair style I requested. After having my hair cut, I was already exhausted, I had to stop a taxi heading towards my home. I finally arrived home by couple of minutes past 8pm. It was indeed a memorable visit.
