The Diary Game || SCHOOL RUNS AND YOWICAN MEETING || 24/02/2026

I am @freshgrace, reporting from Uyo, about my engagements and how I was able to handle all the tasks of the day.

I woke up very early and prepared my son for school as well as myself to go teach in The Presbyterian International Nursery and Primary School where I double as a chaplain and part-time teacher as the computer had been left some time ago, and being that I am good at Computer Studies and d science, I took over to teach six (6) classes.

After family prayers at 6:15 am, I hurriedly bathed my boy, ate and his bag was packed with books and his food. I dropped him off and went down to Ewet Housing Estate, the main school compound.

We had an assembly in the school that ended at 8:am and then I entered classes available and I taught all the classes. I became exhausted and returned to my office.

Few classes was writing my test while in others I continued teaching the topic in the scheme left to be covered before the examination began. My priority has been to cover all my topics for the term before revision week and I have been keeping that standard. The children pay school fees to be taught and handled well.

Between the morning time under 2:30 pm when we dismissed, I was able to get things done. I checked their notes, marked homework, and gave them classwork as well.

Those who didn't do my homework were punished and we corrected them for next time. Our goal in that school is to mold future leaders with moral excellence, leaving no stone unturned and they know the school for this uncompromising standard.

I got home about 3 pm, and I rested after having lunch to boost my strength for the next engagement which was the Christian Association of Nigeria Youth Wing of Akwa Ibom State Chapter (YOWICAN) meeting. I was to present a report in that meeting which was scheduled for 4 pm. I rose from the bed and went to the venue, at 61 Obio Imo Street Uyo.

EVENING

The meeting was called to order at 4:08 pm, and the formalities were followed and I was called to present the proposal as the chairman planning committee for the 2026 Youth Conference coming up. I did and amendments were made and we ratified for further actions.

After the meeting, I spent a little time with my long-time friend who came in from Port Harcourt state. It was a nice moment of reunion after a long period of time.

The stress at school, and going for the meeting was showing all over me and I had to rush home and I didn't do anything other than have my dinner and call it a night. If you have many engagements for the day, do your best to divide the time to favour your presence without excuses, there are people depending on you and you cannot afford to fail.
