The Diary Game: Buying New Flat Slippers To Replace The Spoilt One And Having A Taste Of Oha Soup For The First Time(06-12-2025)

Yesterday when I woke up, I said a short prayer before reading the scripture. I was worried about something and after praying, I opened a portion in the Bible which spoke directly to my spirit and I felt the burden lifted off my shoulders. I began to prepare for the day's runs, I swept and cleaned. Fetched water and did laundry before I took my bath and left to the shop. On my way to the shop, my slippers cut and I managed to move to the shop some miles away from me because I knew I will find some pairs of flat slippers there to buy.

When I got to the shop, my sales girl had already opened and cleaned the shop. I felt bad because I couldn't meet up with my plans of assisting her to do the arrangements and clean up because I knew how tedious it will be for her doing everything by herself. Because of that, I gave her free tip for lunch and her transport fare back home. She handed me a list of items needed in the shop and the one that topped the chart was Klin detergent. I went out immediately to buy it from the wholesale store and sampled them for sale when I returned.

In the afternoon towards 3pm, I went back home to prepare food for lunch and also get myself ready to go for song rehearsal by 5:30pm. I cooked the soup I have been longing to eat for a while now which is oha soup. This soup is widely consumed by the Igbo's. After cooking the soup, I bought swallow and ate my lunch. I took my bath when I finished eating and relaxed for about thirty minutes before getting dressed and left to church. I got a call from one of the choirester who wanted to know if I'll be in church for the rehearsal and my reply was simple, "have I missed song rehearsal or any chu rh activities before?"

I met light at home when I returned from the song rehearsal and as someone who loves neatness, I went into my closet and brought out my choir uniform which I will be wearing to church the next day for ironing. I took time to iron the dress myself and put them in the hanger when I was done before I took my bath. I ate well before studying my Bible to know what to teach the children on Sunday.

It was a long hour of reading and I felt really sleepy at the end of it but managed to make my diary before going to bed. It's nice being part of the @steemit family, God bless us all.
