My burial programme design project and sincere condolences to the Deceased family.
Ikot Ekpenyong village in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria is preparing to bid a final farewell to a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Late Sister Dorathy Emmanson Inyang.
It's been a year since Dorathy left this earthly realm, but her memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. This Saturday, 15th November 2025, her family, friends, and community will gather at her father's compound to lay her to rest.
As part of the preparations for the funeral, I was honoured to be contracted by Engr. Sunday Emmanson, Dorathy's younger brother, to handle the printing of the burial programme, flex banners, and posters. It was a privilege to work on this project, as I know how much it means to the family.
I designed the burial programme, flex banners, and posters with utmost care, ensuring that they reflect the life and spirit of Dorathy. The pictures I created were a testament to her beautiful life, and I was proud to see them come to life in print.
As I delivered the posters and flex banners to Engr. Sunday Emmanson, I could sense the mix of emotions he was feeling sadness, gratitude, and nostalgia. I offered my condolences and assured him that the burial programme printing is in progress, already in the press.
The funeral service will be conducted by The Salvation Army Church, a place that held a special place in Dorathy's heart, as she attended the church from her birth to her demise. The church's involvement in the funeral service is a testament to the impact Dorathy had on the community.
As the community comes together to celebrate Dorathy's life and bid her farevwell, I wish the bereaved family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May they find strength in the memories they shared with Dorathy and in the knowledge that she will always be with them in spirit.
Rest in peace, Late Sister Dorathy Emmanson Inyang. Your memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
Thank you for taking the time to review my work, do have a great time ahead.
