THE DIARYGAME: HOW I SPENT MY LAST CHRISTMAS DAY-25/12/2025

Hello, Steemians, Compliments of the season to you all. Sharing with you today how my day went on Christmas Day.

MORNING

It was so unusual for a Christmas morning without harmattan, but the atmosphere was gingered with sweet Christmas songs from radios, music players, and even in the mouths of everyone at my village. Mum had assigned me an errand earlier the night before to go early in the morning and purchase some chickens at the poultry farm. I arrived at the poultry farm, and I got the one of my choice, made payment, and went back home to prepare for church service. It was such a beautiful way to start my day with joyful songs, Carol's prayers, and more.

AFTERNOON

We returned home, and we rested for a while, and then set out to the kitchen to begin cooking duties. Today was also a special day for my mom, as it was her birthday too. We spent time together preparing the chicken by removing the feathers, and then we butchered it and used it to prepare stew. We were done with everything, and everyone ate, and there was joy and satisfaction at home.

EVENING

My village had organized a football competition consisting of all the families. So it was my own family against another family's turn to play. I strolled down to the field to witness the match; the atmosphere was filled with a spirit of enthusiasm and unity. The community residents cheered their family people, and the excitement hovered around. At last, my family attained a victory with a 5:0 win. I was so happy for the players that represented us. I got back home, and I had dinner, and I rested for the day.

CONCLUSION

From early errands to church, etc., all these activities filled my Christmas day with, joy, love, and community spirit. So grateful for the memories and smiles that lit the day.
