The Diary Game: Going To The Market, Shopping And Cooking [15/03/2026]

Good day, guys and welcome to another episode of my diary session with yours truly, @megareigns. Happy and blissful new week to everyone and how is the new week treating you all? I hope we are all good?

Early in the morning, I woke up and I wanted to boil water so that I can bath and go to church, I couldn't get to boil the water because my gas cylinder burner was just acting up, I knew it was time to change it, so I left it there and went to the market to buy it. When I bought, I asked the man to put it in a nylon for me but he told me his nylon had finished, so I just took it like that.

I branched the main market to go and buy foodstuffs, so that I can cook because time had already gone and I couldn't meet up with going to church any longer. I went to the market and bought rice, fish and few other ingredients. After that, I took my leave and went back home so that I can go and cook, my friend took me this back shot.

When I came back home, I didn't feel like cooking as at that time, I just wanted to eat something soft, so I bought moi moi (it's made with grounded beans) and ate it with garri. After eating, my stomach was so full, so I had my morning bath and then I joined the morning fellowship virtually.

After morning fellowship was over, I went to bed to sleep, since I wasn't going to anywhere, I decided to sleep because, what would I be staying up to do? I just went and had my rest. I slept throughout in the afternoon and then I struggled to wake up late afternoon.

When I woke up, one of my neighbor brought boiled sliced cassava for me with coconut, I was so happy because I don't even remember when last I had something like that. I immediately washed them and began to eat it. If you are from this part fo the worl, you will understand how yummy this thing looks like.

After I finished eating it, I wore my clothes again and left the house. I went to the field to watch the inter church football competition (AkA Football Fiesta). The game was between Foundation Ministry Vs Mount Zion Christ Church. A very exciting match but it ended with a goalless draw. I think Foundation Ministry are currently the most underrated team in this tournament but I was shocked they did the play off with the Mount Zion Christ Church and could hold them down to a goalless draw match, football is something else.

After the match, I went back to the house and then I prepared the rice I bought in the morning. I sat right there and finished a full tray of rice because it was too delicious. After finishing it, I went to the bathroom and had my evening shower.

Coming out, I had a very brief class with my students that were online and then I promised them that our class will resume fully this week. Till my next diary, guys, do well to take care of yourselves and stay safe out there. Much love from me to you all.
