My little show of kindness to my landlady this Christmas season.

This is always the most wonderful time of the year, the yuletide season. The air is always fill with the spirit of love, kindness, and generosity. For me, it is a time to show appreciation to those around me, especially my landlady. I had been planning ahead, thinking of the perfect gift to give her.

As I browsed through the best shopping mall in the city of Uyo, I stumbled upon BlueGrin Fabrics, a renowned supplier and distributor of Ankara fabrics. Their vibrant colours and intricate designs caught my eye, and I knew I had found the perfect gift.

On Friday, December 12th, 2025, I visited BlueGrin Fabrics and purchased a beautiful piece of original hollandaise wax wrapper, popularly known as Ankara.

My aim was to present the gift on the boxing day. The wait was almost unbearable, but finally, Boxing Day arrived, December 26th, 2025. I wrapped the Ankara in a neat package and headed to my landlady's apartment. As I knocked on the door, I could feel my heart beating with excitement.

When she opened the door, I handed her the gift with a warm smile. Her eyes lit up as she unwrapped the package, revealing the beautiful Ankara fabric. A look of surprise and gratitude spread across her face, and she thanked me profusely for the thoughtful gift.

I beamed with pride, knowing that I had made her happy. It was a small gesture, but it brought so much joy to both of us. As we chatted and laughed together, I realized that the true spirit of the yuletide season is about showing love and kindness to those around us.

As I left my landlady's apartment, I felt a sense of satisfaction and contentment. Yesterday was a Boxing Day I will no forget in a hurry, and I looked forward to many more opportunities to spread love and kindness in the years to come.
