Teaching my students English Language [12-11-2025]

I'm always proud of myself as I join others to mould young minds at Kings and Queens Royal Schools. As a professional and committed teacher, I had always been driven to nurture my students for a brighter tomorrow. My approach is always holistic, focusing not only on academic excellence but also on moral and character development.

On Wednesday, 12th November 2025, the first period after morning devotion was English Language, a subject I am always passionate about teaching. I took my time to explain the principles of passage reading and how to answer questions from the passage.

The students listened attentively, their eyes sparkling with curiosity. But I didn't just rely on their chorus of "we understood' to gauge their comprehension. I knew that true understanding required application, so I assigned them classwork to test their knowledge.

As they worked on the exercises, I walked around the classroom, observing their progress and offering guidance where needed. I also made sure to take pictures of the classwork, not just for my records, but also for my article writing.

I love sharing my teaching experiences and insights with fellow educators, and the photos served as a great visual aid.

As I reviewed their work, I was pleased to see that they had indeed grasped the concepts. There were areas that needed improvement, of course, but that was all part of the learning process. I corrected their mistakes, offered words of encouragement, and provided feedback that would help them grow.

Seeing my students learn, grow, and thrive is always the greatest reward I could ask for. And as I packed up my things at the end of the day, I couldn't wait to do it all again tomorrow.

Thank you for reading my post, I appreciate your time.
