The Diary Game: My Healing Journey—From Laundry To A Fun Evening Outing(05-04-2026)

Hello everyone, trust you're doing great? @purpleidy23 is here to share her blog, Life has been messing with me lately and I've been down in health for a while now that I had to take a break from all my activities to take care of myself. I'm gradually recovering and I thought of showing up here to atleast say "hello" to y'all. I started my day with laundry though at some point, I was helped by a good Samaritan to complete the laundry after watching me struggle to get it done myself because of my ill health.

When my good neighbor took over the laundry from me, I stepped out to buy something so I'd prepare breakfast for myself and my neighbor. I returned with the items I bought and dropped them in the kitchen, I went into the room to sweep but the room I had was too short that I couldn't use for sweeping the room anymore so I stepped out again and bought a new broom which I used in sweeping. I brushed my mouth and took my bath before preparing breakfast, when the meal was ready, I called my neighbor and we ate together.

In the afternoon, I felt very bored at home that I decided to go on a solo date. I got dressed and headed out, boarded a keke that would take me to the eatery's location, alighted and paid of the rider before walking into the eatery. As I walked into the eatery, some homeless children ran to me, begging for some money to buy food, I handed them the only change I had left in my pocket which was five hundred naira and got into the eatery. I ordered the snacks I needed and paid using my bank card. I took the snacks to the upper building of the eatery where I sat enjoying my snacks and entertaining myself with some music videos that were on play.

While I was there, my roommate called to know where I was so she could join me. I had told her of my intention to step out and she wasn't interested in it at first but she seemed to have change her mind when she called so I texted her the address and soon, she arrived and joined me there at the eatery. Some hours later, her friend called and asked her to come to a playground in my city and I requested to tag along which she accepted so we bought left the eatery for the playground. Immediately we alighted from the bus, I took this selfie of us before we walked down to the playground where her friend was already waiting for us.

We spent some hours there gisting and watching the water fall, I kept checking the time so I won't miss out on taking my medication. When it was few minutes to the time, I got up and looked for where to buy sachet water and in the quest of searching for sachet water, I found a spot where popcorn was sold and it looked crispy so I bought two for myself and roommate. I couldn't find sachet water so I bought the bottle one instead and returned back to where my roommate and her friend was, took my drugs and began to feel dizzy some minutes later that we had to cut short our stay and return home. I ate my dinner when I got home and slept off as I was highly intoxicated by the drugs I took.
