Thank you to the Steemit team for opening up another opportunity to participate in the curator application for March 2026. I'm applying to be part of the curation team. This time, I'm applying alone. Hopefully, I'll be selected and able to make the best contribution. Here's a detailed overview of me on Steemit.
I'm Salman, I was born on January 5, 1980. I work as a teacher, writer, and humanitarian volunteer. I joined Steemit eight years ago, on July 19, 2017. I was born and reside in Aceh, Indonesia, and speak Indonesian fluently. I'm also the initiator and admin of the Hot News Community. I'm also a moderator on the Steem POD Team.
I've been actively promoting Steemit for a long time, starting with introducing it through the steem.amal initiative, where I'm the volunteer team leader.
Anroja, el-nailul, and my friends also helped promote Steemit by distributing shirts featuring the Steemit community to very active Steemians at that time. We also distributed masks with the Steemit logo during the Covid-19 pandemic.
My friends and I also actively hold large-scale meetups every year. We choose locations ranging from cafes to beaches to cool natural surroundings to foster warmth and a sense of camaraderie among Steemians I am also actively recruiting newcomers and inviting old friends who are no longer active to join again.
